The 20:20 Print Exchange is coming to York this July and August.

Founded in 2009 by Hot Bed Press in Salford, the exchange has grown from a small collaborative project into a global celebration of printmaking. Last year, artists at Thin Ice Press sent 25 prints to join 18,600 others from a total of 744 artists in taking part in this international celebration of printmaking.

Bringing together print studios, collectives, workshops, and academic departments from across the world — from Reykjavík to Hong Kong — the exhibition showcases an extraordinary diversity of styles, techniques, and themes. It offers a unique opportunity to explore contemporary printmaking on a global scale, while highlighting regional approaches and shared creative dialogue.
