Join Thin Ice Press and our friends Imai san, Chihiro san and Paul Denhoed from the celebrated Oguni washi workshop in Niigata prefecture, Japan for an in-depth, small group workshop celebrating the art and craft of washi (Japanese hand paper making).
With expert tuition from the Oguni washi team, you will learn about the process of making washi, and have the opportunity to create multiple sheets, including the chance to add cut paper and other decorative elements.
£40. All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is needed. Your sheets will need some additional drying time following the workshop, and this cost is included in the workshop price.
